10 Things I Regret
Not Socializing
Throughout primary school, to high school, I only had a handful of friends which was okay for the most part, when those friends stop attending school I was feeling alone.
The term taking a risk for me doesn't mean jumping out of an airplane hoping it will open but mainly means for me is doing things that are out of my comfort zone.
Having a boy-best friend
Don't get me wrong I love my boy-best friend but is just that sometimes I wonder how he's relevant in my life and how he benefits me. He gives me unsolicited advice but is that all though. 😖
Oversharing to people
This has hurt me in ways I didn't even know, when I was at primary school, I had this friend that was extremely close with her mom every time I entrusted her with my secrets and overshared details about me, she tells her and unfortunately later along the way, I found out her mom knows everything.
Express how I feel toward someone.
I'd advise you to don't do this unless the person makes their feelings completely clear with you.
Not saying "NO" often
People that see me daily and are always around me say no easily but for people that I rarely see when they asked me to do something I do it instantly.
Spending time with Dad
So caught up with his mistakes that I didn't see that his life was fading.
Not having a close bond with my sister
This is my biggest regret mainly because sometimes I just want to hear her solely advise and to laugh with her to have that sisterly bond. Although! it's never too late.
Not focusing in high school
I was so caught up with media and everything happening around me that high school wasn't my top priority. Not making that mist again though.
Quitting my first Job
After finishing high school, I got a summer job, but I was so excited about college and dint to know how I was going to maintain it that I quit.
