Short Motivation Story

                                             A DIFFERENT ROAD

When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of becoming an artist but of course, my family was against it but that didn't stop me from pursuing my dream. Every day after school I would come home and study the different planets, names of asteroids, and names of moons. But the names wouldn't stick no matter what I do to memorize them I took pills that help with brain development and memory just so I could memorize them, I put all my savings into online courses, but I was still failing. My cousin trouble me every day and complains about how I wanted to be better than everyone else, I ignored him because he was taking facts, I wanted to be better that's why I give it my best. After working at an internet cafe, I save enough money for my tuition because my parents couldn't afford my tuition. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship. It comes through because I have a solid GPA and good recommendations. I attended college and took college majors that specialize in my area of interest. At first, it was a bit hard to catch on at first but afterwhile I caught up. I went to parties on days when I felt stressed, drained, and overwhelmed; I try to keep my circle small. My professor didn't like me because I always question his ability to teach, my dad always called me telling me that I choose the wrong career path and it was never going to work out. After a few years, I applied to European Space Agency (ESA) but I got rejected then I continued to apply to National Astronautics and Space Administration (NASA) then I got rejected, then I brush that off and I applied to NASA again then I got rejected then after applying and getting rejected twice I felt overwhelmed and drained, but I didn't let my family know. Then I decided that in the meantime I should get a job, so I applied for a job as a manager at a fashion boutique that was quite famous, and I got an email after two days saying that "Good day Ms. Lincon, we'd like to hire you for a management position at our location in Boston" of course I was ecstatic. After working for them for a few years they were selling the store and after working and saving up I decided to buy it.

NB: A bit of a motivation story not everything will work out in your Favour sometimes life is telling you to change the road you walk on, and when you take that road, everything starts to come together it may not be what you want at first but just trust it.
